Eltham North
Preschool

Our Centre

Our Preschool is situated at the end of a peaceful cul-de-sac, and bordered by a small council playground. This native reserve, home to several kookaburras and rosellas, is often the location for impromptu play dates for children and parents before or after their preschool sessions.

Set in a quiet residential area, our kinder has an extensive outdoor bush land playground which includes:

  • ample shaded areas
  • a climbing structure with a slide and cargo net
  • a cubby-house
  • fairy garden
  • murals
  • a wooden boat and train
  • a large undercover sandpit; and
  • vegetable gardens

Our Preschool centre is large and bright and is extremely well-resourced with art and craft supplies, educational and fun toys for indoor and outdoor use, a large children’s and parent’s library, a ‘home corner’, reading corner and dress up costumes.

Our friendly, caring and experienced staff are passionate about Early Childhood Education. Together they form a happy and cohesive team dedicated to developing and delivering stimulating programs within a nurturing learning environment.

We have close ties with feeder schools in the area to help prepare your child for a smooth and happy transition to primary school.

Eltham North Preschool integrates all children and recognises that every child has individual strengths and a unique outlook.

Our staff are committed to working closely with families to achieve a positive and enjoyable experience for all children at such a significant developmental stage in their lives.

Eltham North Preschool proudly displays the Kinder Tick to help families feel confident that our program is recognised as a funded kindergarten program and:

  • Is led by qualified staff
  • Children benefit from play-based learning
  • The kindergarten program is funded and approved by the Victorian Government
  • Our program complies with government guidelines and the National Quality Framework
