We offer free high quality 3 and 4 year old programs in an inclusive and welcoming environment.

Community
Excursions

Excursions support children to explore and get to know different spaces outside of their immediate world at the centre. We run a variety of excursions and incursions to enhance learning and development.

Space to 
Explore

We have large indoor and outdoor play spaces so there is plenty of room to move and explore. Outside play spaces include a cubby house, fantasy garden, water play area and a big sun-protected sandpit. Our rich environment supports social, emotional, cognitive, physical, technological and creative learning.

Sustainability

We encourage children to play, observe, interact with and respect the natural environment, incorporating sustainable practices. Our large outdoor area is an environmentally conscious space, with a worm farm, dry river bed, sensory plants and a vegetable garden. Our 5,000 litre rainwater tank provides water for flushing our toilets.

Our kindergarten’s philosophy guides our teaching and approach to early learning. It is informed by the National Quality Framework and underpins all our service’s operations and daily practices.

The Y has been delivering Early Learning Programs for over 20 years and is passionate about creating safe, fun, educational environments where children can thrive. At the Y, we believe in the power of inspired young people and we feel there is no better time to begin inspiring than in an Early Learning program!

Enrolment & Session Information

Glendal Preschool’s registration process is managed centrally by the City of Monash and is supported by the Y Kinders’ enrolment team who will provide information and support on any queries relating to your child’s enrolment.

We operate free 4 year old and 3 year old kindergarten programs on the days and times below:

3 Year Old Kindergarten
