With dedicated educators, we run a high-quality preschool program for 3 and 4 year olds, and their families. With beautiful facilities, Nara Preschool provides a safe environment for your child to learn and thrive.

We offer free 3 and 4 year old kindergarten, with our programs running 15 hours a week.
We are pleased to offer the ELLA learning initiative within our program. Our children are taught Japanese and the children spend hours each week learning to speak Japanese, in a fun, relaxed setting!
We are located in a diverse community and incorporate a variety of different cultures in our program. By sharing in our discoveries, children gain deeper understandings of their peers, and the world around them.
Storypark connects our educators with families, providing the ability to share news, service updates, progress and exciting moments from kinder to home!
Our program supports children with the exciting period of change that marks their transition to primary school. Strong partnerships with our local schools help make this next step as smooth as possible.

The Y has been delivering Early Learning Programs for over 20 years and is passionate about creating safe, fun, educational environments where children can thrive. Nara Preschool’s registration process is managed centrally by the City of Monash and is supported by the Y Kinders’ enrolment team who will provide information and support on any queries relating to your child’s enrolment.
We operate free 4 year old and 3 year old kindergarten programs on the days and times below:
