North Bendigo
Preschool

Our Centre

North Bendigo is located in central Bendigo, close to the hospital and Lake Weeroona. We offer 3 and 4 year old funded kindergarten.

Our educational program is play based. The learning of each child is extended by the program being based on their interests and strengths. Our environments incorporate the learning areas of numeracy, literacy, inquiry, creative, physical, dramatic and imaginative, where the children learn new concepts and develop new skills as they engage with the resources in a way that suits their individual learning styles. The experienced educators act co learners to scaffold learning.

We believe in educators and families working in partnership and provide numerous opportunities for families to be involved. We value the opinion of the families and children and involve them in decision making processes.

As children learn by connecting with their community, we provide incursions and excursions to develop the children’s understanding of their world and widen their experiences.

North Bendigo Preschool proudly displays the Kinder Tick to help families feel confident that our program is recognised as a funded kindergarten program and:

  • Is led by qualified staff
  • Children benefit from play-based learning
  • The kindergarten program is funded and approved by the Victorian Government
  • Our program complies with government guidelines and the National Quality Framework
