Our Centre

Red Cliffs Kindergarten is a short 15 minute drive from Mildura.

Located in the Red Cliffs Early Years Hub, the kindergarten program commenced in the brand new purpose built facilities in term 2, 2025.

Co-located with Maternal Child Health and other community services, the kindergarten has four rooms and will cater for up to 132 children.

The new kinder is modern, spacious and blends important historical features, such as a beloved tree, with fresh and contemporary learning environments. A huge undercover area is designed to encourage indoor-outdoor play – allowing for a range of weather conditions.

Our experienced team of educators welcome family input and warmly invite you to visit.

We offer free 3 and 4 year old kindergarten, with our programs running 15 hours a week.

Excursions

Connecting with their community is important to develop children’s understanding of their world and widen their experiences. Incursions and excursions are a key part of our program.

Explore

Our large indoor and outdoor play areas are designed to encourage learning and exploration. With a new engaging playground, there is plenty of space to move, learn and play.

Kitchen Garden
Program

Our Kindergarten has its own vegetable garden for growing, harvesting and cooking our produce. We promote healthy eating and teach our children about the importance of healthy foods.

Access

Storypark connects our educators with parents, providing the ability to share news, service updates, progress and exciting moments from kinder to home!

We pride ourselves on our commitment to the safeguarding of children and young people, providing safe and fun environments for children to flourish.

Enrolment & Session Information

Red Cliff Kindergarten’s registration process is managed centrally by the Mildura Rural City Council and is supported by the Y Kinders’ enrolment team who will provide information and support on any queries relating to your child’s enrolment.

We operate free 4 year old and 3 year old kindergarten programs on the days and times below:

Early access to Pre-Prep: If your child meets the criteria for priority access to Pre-Prep you may be eligible for an additional 5-7.5 hours of kindergarten in 2026. Find out more here.
