At Tally Ho Preschool we nurture and develop a sense of wonder, enthusiasm and a love of learning in each child!

Welcome to our 3 and 4 year old Kindergarten programs! At our Preschool, children thrive and become active participants in their learning and the community.

We create a stimulating and diverse environment, which is designed to foster children’s learning and development, and reflects the individual interests and uniqueness of each child. We value our relationships with families and children, and aim to provide a respectful centre, that understands and appreciates the diversity of our children, families and wider community.

Healthy
Living

Healthy eating, oral hygiene and sun smart awareness are actively promoted at our Preschool. We are official participants in the SunSmart program.

Diverse
Curriculum

Our curriculum supports social, emotional, cognitive, physical and creative learning. We also celebrate multiculturalism and include a variety of cultural events throughout the year.

Storypark connects our educators with families, providing the ability to share news, service updates, progress and exciting moments from kinder to home!

Excursions

 We connect with our local community and go on exciting excursions. These provide opportunities for children to learn more about themselves, as well as the world around them.

Our Preschool’s philosophy guides our teaching and approach to early learning. It is informed by the National Quality Framework and underpins all our service’s operations and daily practices.

The Y has been delivering Early Learning Programs for over 20 years and is passionate about creating safe, fun, educational environments where children can thrive. At the Y, we believe in the power of inspired young people and we feel there is no better time to begin inspiring than in an Early Learning program!

Enrolment & Session Information

Tally Ho Preschool’s registration process is managed centrally by the City of Monash and is supported by the Y Kinders’ enrolment team who will provide information and support on any queries relating to your child’s enrolment.

We operate free 4 year old and 3 year old kindergarten programs on the days and times below:

2025 session times are provisional.

3 Year Old Kindergarten (2024 & 2025)

Wednesday 9.30am – 2.30pm
Friday 9.30am – 2.30pm
 

4 Year Old Kindergarten (2024 & 2025)

Tuesday 8.30am – 4.00pm
Thursday 8.30am – 4.00pm
