Our Centre

Warragul Community Preschool Centre is located in Mouritz Street, Warragul.

Our Preschool is noted for its playground, which is unique in the natural beauty and space it provides. It is the perfect place for children to explore, investigate and imagine.

Features such as the vegetable garden, worm farm and chickens allow the children to observe and care for plants and animals and to engage in sustainable practices. With many play and activity spaces, our playroom is light, airy, spacious and comfortable.

Warrgual Community Preschool proudly displays the Kinder Tick to help families feel confident that our program is recognised as a funded kindergarten program and:

We offer high quality free 3 and 4 year old play-based kindergarten programs.

Excursions support children to explore and get to know different spaces outside of their immediate world inside the centre and connect with their local community.

Kitchen Garden
Program

Our Preschool has its own vegetable garden, fruit trees, worm farm and hen-house. We grow and harvest fresh, healthy food for cooking.

Space to
Move

We have large indoor and outdoor shaded play spaces, including 3 covered areas with a sand-pit, rotunda, “soft fall” area and garden. There is plenty of room to move and explore!

Access

Storypark connects our educators with parents, providing the ability to share news, service updates, progress and exciting moments from kinder to home!

Our kindergarten’s philosophy guides our teaching and approach to early learning. It is informed by the National Quality Framework and underpins all our service’s operations and daily practices.

The Y has been delivering Early Learning Programs for over 20 years and is passionate about creating safe, fun, educational environments where children can thrive. Enrolment & Session Information

Warragul Community Preschool’s enrolment registration process is managed centrally by the Baw Baw Shire and is supported by the Y Kinders’ enrolment team who will provide information and support on any queries relating to your child’s enrolment.

We operate multiple sessions for our 4 year old and 3 year old free kindergarten programs on the days and times below:
