Welcome to our 3 and 4 year old Kindergarten programs!
At Wayburne Preschool, we provide an environment where children thrive and become active participants in their learning and the community.

We create a stimulating and diverse environment, which reflects the individual interests and uniqueness of each child. 

Kindergarten is a very exciting time for the children and their families and we aim for all to have very happy memories of their time at Wayburne Preschool.

3 & 4 Year Old
Kinder Programs

We offer free 3 and 4 year old kindergarten, with our programs running 15 hours a week.

Healthy
Living

Healthy eating, oral hygiene and sun smart awareness are actively promoted. We focus on keeping our staff and children safe outside, and are official participants in the SunSmart program.

Community Excursions

We value the involvement of the community in our children’s education and take part in incursions and excursions. These extend children’s learning about themselves and the world around them.

Diverse Curriculum

Our curriculum supports social, emotional, cognitive, physical and creative learning. We also celebrate multiculturalism and include a variety of cultural events throughout the year.

Storypark connects our educators with families, providing the ability to share news, service updates, progress and exciting moments from kinder to home!

We pride ourselves on our commitment to the safeguarding of children and young people, providing safe and fun environments for children to flourish.

Our Preschool’s philosophy guides our teaching and approach to early learning. It is informed by the National Quality Framework and underpins all our service’s operations and daily practices.

The Y has been delivering Early Learning Programs for over 20 years and is passionate about creating safe, fun, educational environments where children can thrive. At the Y, we believe in the power of inspired young people and we feel there is no better time to begin inspiring than in an Early Learning program!

Enrolment & Session Information

Wayburne Preschool’s registration process is managed centrally by the City of Monash and is supported by the Y Kinders’ enrolment team who will provide information and support on any queries relating to your child’s enrolment.

We operate both 4 year old and 3 year old free kindergarten programs as mixed age groups on the days and times below:

2025 session times are provisional.

Koala mixed-age 3 & 4 Year Old Group (2024 & 2025)
