All of our Y Kinders offer free 3 and 4 year old kindergarten programs. All 4 year-old programs run for 15 hours a week at our services.
Research shows that two years of high-quality learning experiences before school are better than one. Participating in kindergarten at these vital ages can improve a child’s learning and development, emotional wellbeing, and impact their longer-term educational and social outcomes and life experience.
The Victorian government provides free kindergarten for 15 hours a week for each child, in the year before school.
