Early Childhood Educators’ Day takes place on the 3rd September, and we extend a huge thank you to all our incredible teams who make such a huge difference in the lives of over 4,500 children across Victoria.
Across our 93 kindergartens and 5 Long Day Care services, we simply could not have the impact we do without every one of our early learning team members.
Their tremendous drive to be the very best they can be every day, and their flexibility to meet each child’s needs is truly special. It takes strength and tenacity to continually strive for excellence, and to bring joy, patience, and insight into every interaction. These qualities shine through in everything that they do.

Y Kinders manages services in 23 Local Government areas, providing high quality educational programs and supporting children, families and communities across rural, regional and metropolitan centres.
Kristy Turner, Area Director for Bendigo and Mount Alexander Shire, shared the gratitude that all our Y support teams feel. “Today is a day to take the opportunity to say a huge thank you to all our teams for all that they do for our little people each and every day,” she said.
“Their hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed and seeing the smiles on the children’s and families’ faces when they come into kinder is a reminder of the wonderful connections that they have with each and every child and their family.”
On this special day, we encourage anyone who has been inspired to learn, to discover, to create, or experienced joy through the efforts of their kinder teacher or educator, to take a moment to acknowledge their efforts, passion and professionalism.
