2024 Enrolments

2024 enrolments are open for kindergartens with Y Kinders’ managed enrolments. Y Kinders manages the full enrolment process for kindergartens in the following Shires: Ararat Rural City, Baroondara, Buloke, East Gippsland, Mount Alexander, Pyrenees, Swan Hill Rural City and Yarra.

Enrolments can be made on-line for kindergartens with Y Kinders’ managed enrolments through the link below. 

Important information before enrolling on-line

  • ALL sections of the enrolment form MUST be complete before it can be submitted. It will NOT SUBMIT if the mandatory sections are not completed.
  • The form CANNOT be saved, so please ensure that you have all the details required before commencing (see below).​
  • Upon completion of the form, confirmation of successful submission should appear on your screen and a confirmation email sent to the email address provided.

Please ensure you have the following information as the on-line form cannot be saved and your application will not be completed without these items:​

Concession Card (if applicable)

Scan or photo of concession card (to be uploaded at prompt)​

Contact details of person(s) authorised to be contacted in an emergency

​Full name, address and contact phone numbers.​

Contact details of person(s) authorised to collect your child from kindergarten

​Full name, full address and contact phone numbers.​

Court Orders (if relevant)

Should be current.

Doctor’s details

​Name, address (including street number) and phone number.​

Please note that due to legislative requirements we CANNOT accept records from Maternal and Child Health Books (green/blue books)

IMMUNISATION HISTORY STATEMENTS can be requested from:

  • the myGov App – Medicare section of the myGov website/App (can be printed or taken from screenshot)
  • Express Plus Medicare Mobile App
  • the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) tel: 1800 653 809 
  • the Australian Immunisation Register via email acir@medicareaustralia.gov.au.
  • your local Medicare or Centrelink Office. Please note: the Medicare logo and Australian Government crest must be present and identifiable to be considered a valid Immunisation History Statement. For example, if the Statement is the second page of a letter from Medicare, both pages need to be presented to the service to confirm enrolment.​ 

Families who do not hold a Medicare card will need to call the AIR to request an Immunisation History Statement.

The statement must show that the child is up to date with all vaccinations that are due for their age, or that they are able to receive; OR is eligible to enrol under the 16 week Grace Period while the service works with the family to obtain the necessary immunistions/documention; OR has a medical reason not to be vaccinated.

‘Conscientious objection’ is not an exemption under the ‘No Jab No Play’ legislation.
