Our kindergarten communities provide important support to our Y Kinders, assisting with fundraising and initiatives which contribute to the improvement, presentation and quality of the facilities.
The Parent Advisory Group and staff at A G Leech Kindergarten, Maryborough created a unique and beautiful solution to address some concerns regarding the view of the playground. A boundary fence running parallel to the street, was not providing adequate protection due to the proximity of some nearby housing.
Beautiful artwork featuring contributions by children and themed around the seasons had been designed for the service. Using the stored files, these were translated into banners which were hung on the fence, creating a barrier to the street and a more encolosed environment.
Y Kinders works in partnership with our Parent Advisory Groups to enhance kindergarten environments, connect with local communities and bring benefits to children, families and kindergarten programs.
